Made in Canada

Well babes .... summer is coming to an end here in Canada, but that doesn't mean you have to pack away your fav. Kahona pieces just yet. Go ahead and book that plane ticket + free your soul in our latest collection Made In Canada.

This summer we released this collection to give you the quality 'kinis that you deserve. Founder Lia Barkauskas has them all personally fitted to her body so that she can tweak them perfectly to hug you in all the right places. All fabric is sourced personally by her so that she can feel the fabric before buying as well as make sure all colours are even more stunning than the photos can capture! This collection features fabric that will shimmer in the sun and be sure to make you stand out.

The collection features 3 tops and 3 bottoms in 5 colours along with our best selling Isla one piece. There is a bottom for everyone - from minimal to high waisted. Tops are designed for babes with big bust and also those with not so much 🙃

Oh ... and did we mention we just dropped our Neon collection made here in Canada as well? This collection is everything. Adjustable bottoms and top with an extra long string to wrap around your waist. Had to keep one in every colour!

q: fav colour of the collection?

Seaside or Hollywood!

q: what was your vision behind the new collections?

I wanted it to be inclusive to everyone. The Cindy collection is minimal for the beach babes that aren't afraid to flaunt it - and even though there are only three sizes they are adjustable to fit XS-XL. As mentioned before there is a bottom and top to fit everyones needs in the 'Made in Canada' collection!

q: why have your swim made in Canada now?

I absolutely loved my first launch made overseas, don't get me wrong. However, sizing got messed up and the communication was getting lost - I wasn't getting exactly what I wanted. I am a little bit of a perfectionist with my suits (Kahona is my baby!) and I want to give a product to my clients that I would be excited about. For me, its easier not stressing out about what a colour is going to look like, how it the piece is actually going to fit on etc. Now I can just be at ease picking my own fabrics and changing what needs to be changed right then and there with my seamstress.
